HELLO, WE’RE PRINTRAID
A little idea. A personal touch.
The idea for PrintRaid came to Chamath while working with kids. It grew into a project about making everyday things feel a little more personal.
A name helps us recognise what belongs to us. A colour, a flower or a little rocket says something about who we are. We want to bring those small details together in objects people enjoy using and giving.

C.ChamathThe idea behind PrintRaid
HOW IT BEGAN
An idea that started with kids.
Chamath got the idea for PrintRaid while working with kids. That connection is at the heart of the project: making space for a name, an interest and a little individuality.
The idea is simple. A useful everyday object can also be a small expression of personality. PrintRaid brings that idea into personalised designs people can choose for themselves or give to someone they care about.
MORE THAN A NAME ON A TAG
Why we’re making this.
✳
For the everyday things that deserve a little personality.
We’re developing a collection with room for different personalities, from playful dinosaurs and controllers to flowers and simple lettering. The aim is to make personalisation approachable: choose a design, see your name and try colours together.
01 / PERSONAL
Something that feels like you.
A favourite colour. An interest. A name that matters. The personal part should be yours to choose.
02 / THOUGHTFUL
A small way to say “I thought of you”.
We like the idea of a simple object becoming a thoughtful gift because someone chose the details for you.
03 / OPEN
Show the work as it develops.
This project is still taking shape. Concept images, preview artwork and approved physical products are different stages, and we’ll be clear about which you’re seeing.
FROM THE DESIGN NOTEBOOK
The thinking behind the little details.
A look at the current PrintRaid collection in development. These are concept references, not photographs of completed orders.

01
Start with a personality
The collection explores different interests, rather than giving everyone the same blank nameplate. The controller and rocket concepts bring play and adventure into an everyday object.

02
Let colour do some talking
Two colours give each design its character. We’re pairing light and dark shades to keep names clear, while leaving room to choose a combination that feels personal.

Make the small details count
Lettering, motifs and the shape around them all affect how a tag feels. We’re comparing the preview artwork with the original concepts while keeping layout drafts clearly separate from the original reference artwork.
WHERE THE PROJECT IS TODAY
From an idea to something you can hold.
We’re sharing the journey while the collection develops. Here’s what happens between a design on screen and a tag ready to use.
01
Explore the designs
Twelve concepts set the visual direction: names, shapes, motifs and a reference colour palette.

02
Refine the personalised artwork
Try a name and colour pair. Preview shapes and lettering are still being matched to the original concepts.

Check real samples
Physical test prints need to confirm the size, ring fit, lettering and material before the products can be approved for sale.
